Sharon and her late husband, Paul, moved to Elk Rapids from New York in the early 1990s. In 1996, she opened her own insurance office in Elk Rapids as part of the Larkin Group. Then, in 2000, she rebranded as Fitzpatrick Insurance – an independent agency focused above all else on providing excellence in customer service.

Fast forward 26 years to 2022, and the torch has since been passed to new co-owners Adam Brown and Patrick Lavis. Times are changing. We have grown to adopt modern technologies and best practices. We have added new carriers and coverage to our repertoire, ensuring our clients get the best possible coverage for superior rates. Some things never change though and the values established by Sharon so many years ago are still embodied by our team.
